Malveaux is an American investor, advisor and entrepreneur who has sourced, structured and negotiated $100 billion in complex transactions across a broad range of industries and asset classes. With 30 years of experience in Japan and across Asia, Europe and the US, Malveaux has developed a unique perspective, along with a global network of strategic relationships to bring ideas to life. Malveaux is also an Ambassador and Advisor to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, appointed by Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike.

Malveaux is the CEO and co-Founder of Grand Alliance and Grands Boulevards. As an entrepreneur, he has built and operated best-in-class brands at the intersection of innovation, technology, and wellness, including, ALTO USA (co-Founder and President; #1 brand in non-glare LED “Lighting for Health”), and DESAVO (co-Founder and CEO; #1 lifestyle and mask brand with partners including Google, the Academy Awards (Oscars), HBO, Delta and the NBA).

Malveaux started his career in finance in New York as an attorney at Latham & Watkins and transitioned to investment banking in leveraged finance at Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. He started working in Japan in 1993 at the patent law firm of Oshima and Narushima and subsequently worked at Panasonic’s Osaka headquarters in the Patent Licensing Department, becoming the first ever American employee in such department.

Malveaux was born and raised in the South Bronx in New York, and graduated from Harvard University (AB, 1996), Columbia Law School and Columbia Business School (JD / MBA, 2003). He is also a Board Member of Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the largest non-profit organization in the US supporting Hispanic American higher education.
